About Marnie

Marnie's Story

Marnie Grey is a Vancouver, Canada based Children’s Entertainer, with four action packed CD’s, consecutive sell out performances, and Award Winning Music Classes. Prior to her success as a Children's Musician, Marnie was an Early Childhood Educator (1993).  In 1999, Marnie's love of music and years of experience all came together to develop five unique Music and Movement Classes.  Marnie’s classes were by far the most popular preschool and toddler classes in Greater Vancouver, generating 1:30 a.m. lineups and 250 ‘seats’ selling out in less than 10 seconds.

Children deserve the very best we have to offer. Marnie is one of them.

~ Gord Osland, Executive Director of Winnipeg International Children’s Fest & Okanagan International Children’s Fest 1970’s-2012

Music that Makes you MOVE!

Studies have proven that Music and MOVEMENT are integral parts of childrens' cognitive and spacial development. Marnie noticed that whenever she sang, children of all ages instinctively moved. In order to support that intrinsic nature to ‘dance’, Marnie wrote and recorded action based songs that were perfect for her classes, concerts and CD’s. In 1999 there were not many Children’s Programs in the city, and Marnie’s movement based classes and songs were on the forefront, propelling her to the top of the Canadian Children’s Music scene.
