Raves & Reviews for The Music with Marnie Band
Marnie, your fan base in our province continues to grow, and we are so proud to be a part of the Music with Marnie community. The energy, positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm you project onstage is well-matched by the level of professionalism and quality of musicianship from your team. Each time you visit our province, it is a joy to see children and grown-ups alike discover something new about your music. Marnie, your combination of talent, education and professional experience is rare, and your ability to connect with a children's audience is truly a gift.

Guaranteed to uplift even the most curmudgeonly person in the crowd is Marnie Grey. The local singer/performer has developed a stellar reputation in the city for her bright smile, infectious music and obvious love for children.

As a programmer and producer of children's programming for over 20 years ... I am mightily impressed with Marnie ... Marnie's personality and energy are completely infectious. This show is all about ACTION and kids and parents love it ... Children deserve the very best we have to offer. Marnie is one of them.

In the Spring of 2007 we had Music with Marnie as the main stage for our Kensington Children's Festival which involved six east Vancouver schools. Marnie and her band were the highlight and her energy was contagious. The communication with her in planning for this event was excellent and she provided a show that was at the right level for our Kindergarten to grade four students. The phrase "Music that makes you move" says it all. The songs and performances never fail to get the kids up hopping!

Marnie has been a regular performer at the Festival since 2002, moving from the bandshell to a ticketed "mainstage" venue with great success. Her highly interactive show is aimed at our youngest audience and she has developed a loyal following of children and their parents over the years. The importance of engaging children in the arts and directly with artists and musicians cannot be emphasized enough in today's busy and changing world. Music with Marnie shows and workshops are just the ticket.
